Question: Canon g10 attachments?

I am very very new to photography. so a few months back i didn't really wanted to invest much on a SLR, so i bought a canon G10 (heard it was like a semi pro cam). The stall that i bought from said that if wanted to advance more with it i can buy "attachments" So was wondering can anyone give specific details of those attachments i should look out for?

Well, as far as i know any lens attachment will work with the G10, its just a matter of how effective it will be.

The G10 is not a semi-pro camera. It's just a point & shoot camera with a small sized sensor just like many others out there, but it also has full manual controls and the ability to shoot in RAW. As far as "attachments" go...if you have a look on page 286 of your User Guide, you will see that you can use a tele-converter (the adapter must also be used). Ho hum.
