Question: Can i use a generic charger for my canon g10?

I found one for $6 with a car adapter verses the $43 for Canon Brand. A big difference but don't want to ruin my batteries.

Yes you can but be certain the connector, voltage and polarity are correct. $6 seems pretty low. Is this a cheap import perhaps from Ebay? Those I would avoid.
