Question: What's better, canon g10 vs. g11 camera? (Posted by: *wondering* on 2010-01-21 16:58:17) Please answer based on personal experience. I already did some research on both and found there are about equal amounts of pros & cons. In your opinion, what's a better camera for an amateur photographer who is mostly into macro pics? |

Posted by: Mark on 2010-01-21, 17:49:08 I do not know these cameras well, but have good faith that if Canon comes out with a new model then it has some over all gains. Below I did add a link to a web page on luminous-landscape.com that I think you should check out if you have not seen it. Also, there is some new more compact cameras recently out on the market and soon to be out that you may want to check out, like the Panasonic GF1, Olympus PEN, and the soon to be out Samsung NX10. (2nd link below is a site you can read up on these camera if you want) Hope this helps. Mark |

Posted by: PS on 2010-01-21, 18:18:26 I would recommend Canon G11. Less MP but that is not important. Dynamic range, image noise and low-light performance are just as important and G11 have good image quality, improved noise performance. |
